Kilian Jornet, insieme a un gruppo di super campioni, è atteso il prossimo 29 maggio alla SkyMarathon di Zegama Aizkorri. Ciò è stato annunciato alla conferenza stampa tenutasi in Spagna a San Sebastian. Ai nastri di partenza, con ogni probabilità, si presenteranno pure Tofol Castaner, Ricky Lighfoot e Andy Symonds. Al femminile, la starting list sarà composta niente meno da Mieria Mirò, Laetitia Roux e Stephanie Jimenez.

Con i suoi 42km e 2472m di dislivello positivo quella di Zegama resta una delle gare più toste dell'avvio di stagione. Più toste e ambite visto il numero chiuso e le che iscrizioni chiuderanno il 28 gennaio. Per maggiori info www.zegama-aizkorri.com.

Kilian Jornet, together with a line-up of super-champions, will participate in the Zegama Aizkorri marathon on May 29th it was announced at the race press conference on Tuesday, January 11th in San Sebastian, Spain.

Other great athletes to look out for and already confirmed: 2010 Skyrunner® World Champion, Spaniard Tofol Castañer; 2009 race winner, Briton Ricky Lightfoot and fellow countryman, Andy Symonds. The women's field is equally impressive, with Spain's Mireia Mirò; France's Laetitia Roux and Stephanie Jiminez. One of the most competitive races in the Skyrunner® World Series, the Zegama-Aizkorri's demanding course covers 42 km with a gruelling 2,472m vertical climb. The competitors are capped at 450 for safety reasons.

Entries will close on January 28th and, as usual, to meet the huge demand for places, a draw for 225 places will take place on February 25 and the results will be published on the website: www.zegama-aizkorri.com.

Apart from winner's prize of € 1,20, a cash prize of €2,500 will be awarded for breaking the records which stand at: 3h54'18" (Rob Jebb, 2005) and 4h38'19" (Emanuela Brizio, 2009).
