Importante riunione del Pool ISMF presso il PalaMonti di Bergamo, sede della sezione Cai della città bergamasca. Per l'occasione erano presenti i vertici della Federazione Internazionale Ski Mountaineering, in particolare il presidente Lluìs Lopez, il direttore tecnico André Dugit e il responsabile Pool dei fabbricanti Adriano Greco.

Durante l'incontro è stato presentato il nuovo regolamento e illustrate le modifiche suggerite dalle aziende partner di ISMF, spiegate in maniera dettagliata dal coordinatore referente delle aziende Denis Pivot, con una serie di migliorie importanti che gli atleti dovranno adottare.

È stato deciso di creare due gruppi di lavoro che parallelamente studieranno e svilupperanno tecnologie in merito alla sicurezza degli attacchi degli sci e delle suole degli scarponi.

L'appuntamento ISMF italiano è stata anche l'occasione per il rappresentante dei prossimi mondiali di Claut Sergio Buricelli di presentare il loro evento attraverso la proiezione di un filmato dettagliato, che ricordiamo andranno in scena dal 18 al 26 febbraio.

In conclusione il presidenze Lopez ha informato sullo stato attuale del dossier che ISMF ha preparato per il CIO e che è stato discusso con i vertici del Comitato Olimpico il 23 novembre a Losanna. Il progetto di portare lo sci alpinismo alle Olimpiadi sta dunque andando avanti, rispettando le procedure internazionali.

During the ISMF manufacturers Pool meeting in Bergamo two working groups on the safety of materials were created.

An important meeting was held by the ISMF Pool at the PalaMonti in Bergamo, the home of the Cai association. The International Ski Mountaineering Federation leaders attended the event, in particular the President Lluis Lopez, the technical director André Dugit and the head of the ISMF manufacturers' Pool, Adriano Greco.

During the meeting the new regulation was presented. The changes suggested by the ISMF partner companies were explained in detail by the coordinator of the companies contact Denis Pivot, with a number of important improvements that the athletes shall have to adopt.

It was decided that two parallel working groups will study and develop specific technological solutions relating to security of bindings and ski boots soles.

The ISMF Italian meeting was also an opportunity for Sergio Buricelli, representative of the next World Cup to be held in Claut, to present that event through the detailed screening of a movie. The film shall be on show from February 18th to the 26th.

In conclusion, the President Lopez reported on the current status of the dossier prepared by the ISMF for the CIO. This dossier has been discussed with the Olympic Committee leaders in Lausanne on November 23rd last. The project of bringing ski mountaineering to the Olympics is thus going forward, according to the established international procedures.
